About me
I have been working as a certified speech-language pathologist for over five years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and went on to complete my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mary. I began my career providing in-home early intervention services in San Diego, where I developed a passion for working closely with children and their families in their natural environment.
Through my husband’s career in the Marine Corps and DOD, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of therapeutic settings, including in-home services, private practice, tele-therapy, and elementary schools. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, which focuses on equipping families with the knowledge and tools they need to support their child’s communication growth outside of therapy sessions.
I specialize in the treatment of articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. I am committed to providing meaningful, individualized therapy that supports each child’s unique strengths and needs.
